The decision to hide out in one of Brisbane's best suburbs was easy when he came across 28 Birkridge Place, The Gap. Initially the privacy of the cul-de-sac and perfection of the elevated North Easterly aspect was the draw card. Only after moving into this beautiful home did he really start to love it enough to call it home for all these years.

The bedrooms are big, especially my master suite. I have loved the ensuite and walk in robe.... did I mention how quiet it is here. I have loved how effortlessly the floor plan flows from family living spaces to the separate private bedrooms.
I have also found that I have used the study for both a place to work and for a 5th bedroom when I needed to.
There are 3 bathrooms, yes that's right 3 - you will never be caught short in this house.
I will always look back on fond memories in the kitchen/family living room. The soaring ceilings, cozy open fire place and bar have set the scene for many great times. The vista from this space is highlighted by the sparkling inground pool and tropical like gardens. The kitchen is massive with so much bench space and storage, in fact I still can't find which draw I put my peanut butter in.
I loved having friends around to my house to wine and dine them. We had so much fun and so many options. We used to party by the pool with cocktails being served in the under cover patio. Or sometimes if I felt a bit more regal we would relax in the formal dinning room overlooking the back yard.
One of my favourite rooms in the house is my TV room. Sit back, grab a drink, pull the handle on the lazy-boy and there I will be happily chilling out for hours on end.
Don't despair there is a huge double garage to park the cars and store all the stuff you might use every now and again. There is plenty of room for any furry friends to roam safely around the fenced perimeter. Also it's important to add that the kids can stroll down this hill to the school.
